In-Person Private Lessons – One Hour Our in-person private lessons are perfect for dog owners who want personalized, hands-on guidance from a professional trainer. These sessions are ideal for: • Previous Boarding Train Clients: If you’ve completed a board-and-train program and used your included private sessions, these lessons allow you to continue building skills, work on exposure scenarios, or address new challenges alongside your trainer. • Apprehensive Owners: If you’re unsure about boarding programs, private lessons provide a taste of our training methods while allowing you to assess what will work best for your dog. • Young Puppies: Puppies too young for boarding programs can benefit from private lessons to set them up for success, establishing early structure, socialization, and foundational skills. Private lessons offer flexibility and individualized instruction, which can be incredibly helpful when tailoring training to your dog’s unique needs. We recognize that there are countless ways to train a dog, and private lessons can be the perfect solution for some situations. However, private lessons may not always be the most effective approach for every dog. Without consistent practice, structured guidance, and professional oversight, progress can stall. Dogs are most responsive when training occurs in a controlled, structured environment with consistent reinforcement—sometimes more challenging to achieve solely in the home. During private lessons, we work closely with you to address behavioral concerns, build confidence, and develop strategies for both inside the home and out in public.
