REHABILITATION 6 Week Board & Train
Service Description
Our 6-Week Rehabilitation Board & Train Program is specifically designed for dogs with high reactivity, aggression, or anxiety, particularly dominant breeds such as Belgian, German, and Dutch Shepherds, but it can also be applied to guardian breeds or smaller dogs who have had traumatic starts in life. This program is ideal for dogs that have experienced abuse, extreme anxiety, or multiple behavioral incidents and need structured, professional rehabilitation to safely and effectively regain confidence and stability. Program Focus: • Comprehensive Behavioral Assessment: We take the time to study your dog’s history, temperament, triggers, and environment to identify the root causes of undesirable behaviors, reactivity, or aggression. • Confidence Building & Impulse Control: Teaching your dog to respond calmly and thoughtfully instead of impulsively, both inside the home and in public. • Aggression & Reactivity Management: Targeted training for dogs reactive to other dogs, people, or situations, ensuring safety and reducing risk in any environment. • Structured Rehabilitation: Daily routines and consistent guidance to help dogs respect boundaries, learn appropriate responses, and prevent testing behaviors. • Public & Home Integration: Controlled exposure to real-world environments while reinforcing obedience, calmness, and reliability in every situation. • Owner Education & Support: We ensure owners understand why behaviors are occurring, their triggers, and how to properly manage them to maintain progress long-term. • Safety & Responsibility: The program emphasizes responsible training to ensure dogs are safe in their home, neighborhood, and community, while respecting the seriousness of behavioral rehabilitation and the risks associated with highly reactive dogs. Additional Program Features: • Lifetime Guidance & Support: Assistance is provided to help maintain progress and manage challenges long after the program ends. • Video Updates & Communication: Transparent, consistent updates to monitor progress and provide reassurance. • Structured Transition Home: Step-by-step plans to integrate your dog back into your household safely and effectively. This program is not for average obedience training—it’s a dedicated, in-depth rehabilitation program for dogs that require patience, experience, and structured guidance. Our goal is to rebuild confidence, reduce reactive or aggressive behaviors and develop an enjoyable relationship between dog and owner.
